With marijuana on the point of being legalized in United States, we decided to take a look at what life would be if the addictive substance was already legal.
Stoners vs Laws: With weed being legal, law enforcement will be able to focus on real crime in the community, instead of potheads. Police officers would have a better chance building relationships in their communities by citizens having trust into law enforcement, mainly blacks and Latinos communities where most of the arrest for marijuana happen. Law enforcement would be able to also prevent young adults and kids from abusing drugs.
Violence over weed will decrease: Legalization of marijuana will decrease violence in the streets between rival gangs, dealers and buyers. Drug users and sellers will settle their difference in court. For instance, a customer can sue a marijuana dispensary in California for selling phony products.
More jobs, better economy: Legalizing pot will cause more employment for others, especially marijuana experts. With millions being unemployed, marijuana entrepreneurs will have the chance to establish stores and franchises that will employ others. More jobs being made from weed will give potheads a greater chance of finding a career path they love. The United States government will have another stream of revenue from taxes on marijuana.
What's better than getting high in public and not having to worry about law enforcement or your noisy neighbors. If U.S. legalized weed, this country will be more safe and peaceful, because everyone will be stoned out of their minds.
